COMMITTEE REPORT ON SENTECH VISIT: ADOPTION

SUMMARY
The Committee read through and adopted the report of their visit to Sentech in Gauteng, on 6 October 2004.

MINUTES
The Chairperson stated that she would be away for two weeks and had asked that Ms Themba (ANC) to act as Chairperson in her absence for the meeting of 10 October and the week thereafter. Members would receive notices of meetings the following day. The Committee would be meeting with the Department of Public Enterprises during the week of the 10^th.

She further stated that the Committee Annual Report would be adopted in the last week of this Parliamentary session ending 19 November 2004. Unfortunately, as the Committee had not covered all the ground needed this session, it was difficult to plan a programme for the following year. The Committee would not be able to make trips to Kwazulu Natal and the Northern Cape because of their heavy work schedule.

The Chairperson then proceeded to asked Members to look over the Report and make corrections and comments. Member only made a few minor technical and grammatical corrections. The Report was unanimously adopted.

The meeting was adjourned.
