Committee Minutes
The Chairperson tabled several outstanding minutes for consideration. These were dated 26 January 2011, 9, 16 and 23 February 2011, 2, 9, 15, 23 March 2011, 12, 14, 20 April 2011, 8, 13, and 22 June 2011.   

All minutes were approved without any amendments.

Committee Report on Budget Vote 24
The Chairperson asked the Members if there were any changes they would like to propose to the report.

Mr A Matila (ANC, Gauteng) proposed that the report be adopted. Mr DV Bloem (Cope, Free State) seconded the proposal.

The report was adopted without any amendments.

Committee Programme
The Chairperson tabled the Committee’s third term programme for consideration.

It was noted that Mr A Watson (DA, Mpumalanga); Mr L Nzimande (ANC, KwaZulu-Natal) and Mr J Gunda (ID, Northern Cape) would be unable to attend the sight visit to police stations in Cape Town where gang violence was rife.

The Members were satisfied and the programme was adopted without any amendments.

The meeting was adjourned.
