Meeting report

The Chairperson opened with an apology from Ms N Bakubaku-Vos (ANC), stating that she had reported a car breakdown and would not be able to make it in time for the meeting.

Minutes 27 November 2019 at 14:00

Ms W Philander (DA) highlighted an error on page two, point two of the minutes with regard to the Adjustment Budget, to which the Chairperson proposed an amendment and adoption.

Ms Philander motioned for the adoption.

Mr R Mackenzie (DA) seconded.

Minutes of 27 November 2019  were adopted with amendments

The Chairperson proposed the consideration and adoption of the minutes from 27 November 2019.

The Committee did not find any errors in these minutes

Ms Philander motioned for the adoption of the minutes as they were.

Mr Mackenzie seconded.

Minutes of 27 November 2019 were adopted without amendments.

The Chairperson paused the meeting for five minutes while the Procedural Officer went to print out the minutes for 25 November 2019.

Upon resuming, the Chairperson proposed the consideration of minutes from 25th November 2019 at 09:00.

Mr Mackenzie highlighted a grammatical error on page two and it was corrected.

Having found no more errors, the Chairperson proposed the adoption.

Mr Mackenzie moved for adoption.

This was seconded by Ms Philander.

Minutes of 25 November 2019 were adopted with amendments.

Further business 

The Chairperson announced that he had with him the Quarterly Reports of the Committee but these were not reviewed. Before closing the meeting, the Chairperson presented a bouquet of flowers to the Procedural Officer, stating that the Committee appreciated her diligence and commitment to the Committee.

The meeting was adjourned.
