First Term Committee Programme for 2024

The Committee met to consider and adopt its programme of meetings for the first term of 2024, also the final term of the Sixth Parliament.
Meeting report
The Chairperson welcomed all the attendees to the meeting and wished them a prosperous new year.

No apologies from Members were recorded.
Adoption of the Draft First Term 2024 Committee Programme
The draft programme stated that all meetings for this term would be on Tuesdays, with the last meeting taking place on 26 March.
The Chairperson noted that the closed session with the Department set for 20 February cannot be virtual and should be amended on the programme.
Ms P Mpushe (ANC) moved to adopt the draft programme.
Ms S Xego (ANC) seconded the movement.
The Committee adopted the First Term 2024 Committee Programme with an amendment that the closed session with the Department should be a physical meeting.
The Chairperson thanked the Members and adjourned the meeting.
