About Dina Deliwe Pule

Ms Pule started her political career while in college as the Secretary of the Student Representative Council at the Elijah Mango College of Education (1987 – 1988). She was a Founder-Member of the South African National Students' Congress. From 2008 to 2009 she was a Member of the Executive Council within the Sports Arts and Recreation branch for the Government of South Africa. Ms Pule has served in various ministerial positions, including Deputy Minister of Communications (2009 – 2010), Deputy Minister in the Presidency for Performance Monitoring and Evaluation (2010 – 2011) and Minister of Communications (2011 to July 2013). As of 2014, she served as a member of the Provincial Executive Council for Agriculture and Land Administration in Mpumalanga. (Source: whoswho.co.za)
