Mr Leonard Jones Basson served as a Councillor from 1 November 1995 to 6 May 2014. Mr Basson has served the community of Madibeng for more than 18 years. He was a member of the Executive Committee of Council - Madibeng Local Municipality. He is a member of the DA Federal Council and Provincial Executive of the DA in North West. He still resides in Brits, North West and his constituency is Madibeng, North West. He has experience working as a Shadow Minister for Water and Sanitation.
