Mr Montseng Margaret Ts'Iu

Ms Ts'Iu was sworn in as the MEC for Health in May 2019. She is currently a member of the ANC’s Provincial Task Team (PTT). In 2008, she was elected to the post of provincial chairperson of NEHAWU in the Free State- a position she held for nine years. She further served in the National Executive Committee of NEHAWU, and Provincial Executive Committee of the ANC and COSATU. After acquiring her Overseas School Certificate through ST Catherine College in Maseru, she pursued the following qualifications: Diploma in General Nursing; Diploma in Midwifery, both were obtained from School of Nursing in Maseru. She further acquired a Diploma in Community Nursing Science from the University of the Free State; and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Management through Regenesys.
