Before being among the young Members of Parliament, Mr Maduna worked as a Senior Internal Auditor for the UMzimkhulu Local Municipality. Mr Maduna started his activism during his university days when he was an activist, SASCO member, and leader at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT). He held many positions in SASCO BECs in Wellington and Cape Town (District Six) campus and student governance. After university, among other positions, Mr Maduna has held are : 1. branch Leader ANC and ANCYL at ward 07, Sindiso Jetro Magaqa Sub-Region, Harry Gwala Region 2. ANCYL Regional Executive Member: Harry Gwala Region 3. ANCYL Regional Working Committee Member: Harry Gwala Region 4. Regional Spokesperson of ANCYL: Harry Gwala Region 5. Current ANCYL National Executive Member and Chairperson of Youth Development Sub-Committee Currently, he has been elected as a Member of Parliament in the 7th administration.
