Mr. Kholwane attained his LLB at the University of South Africa, along with an Advanced National Diploma in Human Resource, Research & Marketing, and an Advanced Diploma in International Economics at UWC. He was the NEHAWU Provincial Secretary, the ANC Branch Secretary, and the NEHAWU Regional Secretary. Mr. Kholwane served as an MP in the National Assembly from 2009 to 2014, and an MEC of Finance in Mpumalanga until 2019. He has often pursued programmes and initiatives that focus on community development.
