Dear Portfolio Committee on Public Service and Administration,

Attention Honourable Chairperson and Members.

My previous correspondence to various members of the portfolio committee on the above matter refers for which no reply or acknowledgement of receipt was communicated.


I hereby wish now appeal to the portfolio committee based on in its mandatory and prescribed quorum to review the decision of the sub committee to arbitrary exclude "late applications" without considering reasons provided.

Secondly the decision to entertain an application that only received on the 21 October when application(s) received less than 15 minutes later than the prescribed closing time but still reached your offices on the the closing date 11 October 2019 is may be construed as inconsistent and prejudicial taking into account none of the afore mentioned applications were arbitrarily excluded.

On what basis was this 1 late application given preference to allow honourable members to debate a possible condonation?

Whilst one appreciate the attempt by the committee to conclude the process timeously any short circuiting they may expose and compromise the integrity if the process. Taking into account our country' socia economic challenges that may either attributed to Force Majure and other factors like Load shedding which affect ordinary sitizens an arbitrary decision may have serious prejudicial implications

As a concerned and affected party i hereby appeal for your committee to review the decision to arbitrary exclude "late applications".
