Dear Portfolio Committee on Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs,our municipality of Tokologo in the free state has appointed a security company to guard the premises of the municipality without advertising the tender since june 2020 to date.

We have brought this concern to the attention of the municipality but couldn't give satisfactory response. It is our feeling that the regulations of procurement of services were not followed by our municipality.

We plead with the parliamentary committee to intervene and investigate this possible abuse of the public funds. Thank you.
