Dear Portfolio Committee on Environment, Forestry and Fisheries, I am from thokoza (Ekurhuleni) we have a dam named "tite" surrounded by informal settlement and formal old township housing, nearby industries spreading spillage oil substance on the dam that causes health hazard to local population, and also kills natural vegetation as well as birds and fishes living in the dam.

my request and suggestion is to turn around the area into recreation facility that thokoza don't have and it will compliment nearby monument.
