Dear Portfolio Committee on Basic Education,
In February, it was said that March would be used to get public submissions on the BELA Bill. However, we have seen no advert calling for submissions. Please could you advise on where the process is and when the call for submissions will be announced.
May we also enquire what form the public participation process will take? Will there be online hearings? Will there be a provincial roadshow in which there are hearings in each province?
