Dear Portfolio Committee on Justice and Correctional Services,

I think it’s a great idea to decriminalize sex work. It would benefit the women and men who are sex workers.

This would allow for them to feel safer reporting crimes committed against them. They could also be integrated into the income tax system & contribute to our society. Lastly, decriminalization could reduce stigma & help sex workers access Prep & other STD reducing methods thereby reducing our HIV burden
