Dear Standing Committee on Public Accounts (SCOPA),
It is disheartening to have learnt that while former Eskom CEO Mr. De Ruyter refused to name the alleged perpetrators of fraud and corruption, the same applied to Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan and National Security Advisor Dr Sydney Mufamadi to whom De Ruyter claim he reported the matter.
In a system of good and effective governance, these three individuals should be charged for being an accessory to a crime means that while they may not have assisted the "alleged offender/s or conspire to commit a crime, their unwillingness to apprehend the "alleged" offender is a criminal act.
The South African Alternatives - a Civil rights movement, will in the best interest of Justice and Equality, like to inform SCOPA that we will pursue this matter of national interest until Justice is Served
Thank you for allowing us to interact
Yours sincerely
