Mr President, as I am sure you know that there is a Ministerial Determination no 733, published on 18 August in the Government Gazette 39111 by the Minister of Energy, which prevents Eskom from producing renewable energy but requires it to purchase renewable energy from Independent Power Producers, IPPs. As part of Eskom's restructuring programme, do you not think that it would be wise to have that Ministerial Determination withdrawn, so that Eskom can also start producing renewable energy and join the green revolution? Or, are you so intent on collapsing Eskom that you will continue to buy renewable energy from IPPs? Thank you.
