Thank you Deputy Speaker, the ANC supports the majority of proposed amendments relating to the changes made to the critical Infrastructure Protection Bill by the NCOP in repealing the outdated apartheid era legislation, the National Key Points Act of 1980. The ANC further welcomes the proposed amendments by the NCOP in line with our democratic and constitutional values of transparency, openness and accountability.
