Hon member, you must be careful of your gesturing.
The DEPUTY MINISTER OF WOMEN, YOUTH AND PERSONS WITH DISABLITIES: Deputy Speaker, hon members, Ministers, I just want to take this opportunity to invite all of us to reflect deeply and fairly on the memory of all those whom we have lost through gender-based violence and femicide. Sometime it is easier to reflect on the names that have been flagged and championed all over, especially by members of the media, but we know our people have died in numbers in the most remote rural areas and very little is known about them.
