Deputy General Secretary of COPE, Ms Deidre Carter, hails from the Free State, but currently lives in KwaZulu-Natal. She has extensive administrative experience and is skilled in the areas of human resources, credit control, sales, fleet control and the like. Ms Carter represented COPE as a Member of Parliament. She is an avid motorcyclist who participates in many road safety projects and charity runs.
