Mr Maswanganyi is the chairperson of the Standing Committee on Finance. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma of Secondary Teachers from the Tivumbeni College of Education. He served as Minister of Transport from March 2017 until February 2018. Before being elected to the National Assembly, he served as a Member of the Limpopo Provincial Legislature from 1997 to 2014.
