About Sam Zandamela

Mr Zandamela joined the Economic Freedom Fighters in 2013. He serves as the EFF party's deputy provincial chairperson. Zandamela served as a Member of the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature from July 2018 to May 2019 prior to becoming an MP.

Following the general election on 8 May 2019, the provincial legislature appointed him as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces on 22 May 2019. He was sworn into office on 23 May 2019.

Mr Zandamela was recently sworn in as a member of the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature on 30th August 2022. He comes in after the vacancy which was a result of the resignation of a former member.
