The President plans to visit communities in all nine provinces. This is based on his commitment to visit communities in different parts of the country to assess for himself the quality and pace of service delivery. As in the past, some of these visits will not be announced in advance.

Honourable Harris, I maintained that on the basis of information presented by the Energy Department, there would be no blackouts during the period of the World Cup unless a major national disaster happened. This did not preclude some interruptions due to regular maintenance or other repairs.
