(1) (a), (b) and (c) Yes. It should be noted that the nutrition contract (HK14/2008) with the said company was extended (and not renewed). The surveillance contract (HK2/2005) expired on 31 March 2012 and was not extended. An open tender process is currently in progress for a follow on maintenance contract. a) Yes. The Department of Home Affairs prepares quarterly interim financial statements. (b) No. The interim financial statements are not considered by the Audit Committee. However, monthly management packs which contain performance and financial information are discussed at every Audit Committee meeting.
