(1)(a). The former Registrar of Labour Relations is not reinstated to his full task because the Labour Court decision has been appealed to the Labour Appeals Court.

(b). There is no need for the Deputy Registrar to be reinstated because her status has never been revoked at any point.

The information requested by the Honourable member is contained in the Annual Report of the Department tabled since 2011/12 to the Annual Report of 2014/15. The Annual Report of the Department provides Quarterly and Annual information in accordance with the National Treasury guidelines.

1. The Department of Labour’s spent on SMMEs for 2015/16 accounted for 59.2% of the total procurement spent.

2. When taking all its entities into account, 29.6% accounted for SMMEs procurement.

3. Cooperatives accounted for negligible share and the Labour Activation Programme is focusing on Enterprise Development Programme with a special focus on Cooperatives.

Indeed the Minister has signed a Performance Agreement with the President and progress is captured on the 2015/16 Annual report of the Department. Key indicators and Targets are part of the Department’s APP and Strategic Plans.
