(1) The IDZ Operator Permit was signed on 12 November 2009. The permit
is currently on transit to the MEC of KwaZulu Natal Department of
Economic Development and Tourism KZN â Hon. Mike Mabuyakhulu for
notification.

(1) (a) When will the incentive schemes for investors at all industrial development zones be finalised and (b) what are the details of the incentive schemes; (2) whether any additional sustainable jobs will be created by these incentive schemes; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
(a) The department provides incentives for all investors irrespective of
their location and currently there are no IDZ specific incentives. My
Department is currently finalizing an incentive programme in
association with National Treasury.
(b) This programme is a tax allowance programme i.e., 12i of the Income
