(1) Whether any measures are in place to ensure that government departments adhere to the 2% employment equity target; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details; (2) (a) what is the role of her department compared to that of the Public Service Commission in monitoring and evaluating the compliance by government departments in this regard and (b) what are the implications for government departments that do not adhere to this target?
