He previously served as COSATU’s first Deputy President until 2017.Prior to his election to the position of the first deputy president of Cosatu, he served in the National Union of Mineworkers in the Free State province. Former board member of the Immigration Advisory Board. Former board member of TransCaledon Tunnel Authority.
