About Adrian Christopher Roos

Adrian Roos holds an LLB and BSc degree. He hasapplied location intelligence to drive growth and innovation in the government as well as in the transport, retail, monitoring & evaluation spheres for over 20 years. As a former National Chairperson of the Geoinformatics Society of South Africa he was instrumental in driving the establishment of education programmes in the geoinformatics industry. As a passionate community activist, Roos has focused on helping youth and disability projects by establishing funding and support networks. Roos served on the Public Accounts, Finance, Economic Development, Transport and Environment Committees as a PR Councillor in the City of Tshwane before being elected to Parliament on the Home Affairs Portfolio. During this time he was elected to the DA Gauteng North Regional Executive and admitted as an Advocate of the North Gauteng High Court.
