About Nazley Khan Sharif

Ms Sharif holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Political Science from Wits University. During her first year of studies, she joined the Democratic Alliance Student Organisation (DASO) and has been involved in politics ever since. She has served as the DASO's Deputy Chairperson for Recruitment and Campaigns, the Chairperson for DA Youth JHB South Constituency, the Chairperson for the DA Gauteng South Regional Youth Organisation, and the Chairperson for DASO Wits . Ms Sharif was also elected as a PR Councillor in the city of Johannesburg in 2014 and was re-elected in 2016. In 2016 she became the Section 79 Chairperson for Gender, Youth and People with Disabilities (GEYODI) in the City of Joburg (2016-2019). She was elected to Parliament in 2019.

Ms Sharif has been appointed as the Shadow Minister of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities.
