About Roger William Tobias Chance

Mr Chance has worked in the fields of commercial management, production planning, market research and quality control. Since moving to South Africa from England, Mr Chance has developed expertise in the ICT and communications industries including journalism, book and online publishing, computer-based training and education, corporate video and multimedia production, e-commerce systems development, PR and events management. In 1994 he was named Mr Multimedia by a leading computer magazine and became a sought-after speaker as well as TV and radio guest on technology talk shows. In July 1998 he and a partner founded Mondo Interactive Media to focus on the growing field of eCommerce. In April 2005 Mr Chance was appointed Business Development Director at Adele Lucas Promotions (ALP), a leading events management and communications company.

Mr Chance was elected a Member of Parliament after the May 2014 elections, representing the Democratic Alliance as Shadow Minister of Small Business Development
