could you explain the declaration of the Council for Geoscience as a National Security point?
this is a geological survey whose mandate is generation and archiving of geological data for public, private, government use using tax payers money. since the declaration of the national security point it is difficult to access geological data for the public as this data has now become confidential information yet mots of that data is generated by private mining and exploration companies.
