Dear Portfolio Committee on Higher Education and Training,

My name is Thapelo Nkuna a student with the University of Zululand. As the student of the institution I am really not pleased by the way the management is treating us as students. The management is failing us and it seems like it does not care about out grievances as students. Most of us we are funded by NSFAS to cover our expenses which are: tuition fees, accommodation, meals and transport. This is the second time to not receive our meal allowances on time. Most of us we depending from the monthly allowance that we funded by NFSAS and today we are told that it will be paid on Tuesday Midnight. Our quotation is, why the delay? It is clear that the management is not fit enough to run the institution.

We are starving as students and the management is enjoying their luxury homes. I therefore request the Portillo committee to come rescue where possible.
