Dear Portfolio Committee on Women, Youth, Children and People with Disability,
I have been diagnosed 6 months ago please not I cant walk, I applied for uif illness benefits and have never claimed before, my company fujifilm sa refused to commit to my disability and put me on a ipp, now they left me with debt, as I had a car allowance etc, I have huge medical Bill's, and they never covered me from day one, so I have been in and out of uif offices to get my illness benefit I am white and get threatened by the crowds and the people in the pinetown office keep delaying my request, I gave them documents over and over, I believe they dont pay whites as that is what the officer told me, I can never work again, and neither can my wife as she is now full time carer, I have to pay rent of R8000 that I cant afford due to old age homes not taking people in until covid 19, the company left me with a car payment of 5000 and that was a vehicle used for them, then I dont have medical aid, they refuse to put me on permanent disability even though I am no longer able to work ever my life span is 2 years at most, I just want to survive , and I am denied food this I cant afford , please help
