Dear Portfolio Committee on Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, on behalf of group of ladies and youth who have started vegetable farming, leased land on transnet community centre, and they recently encounterd bullying from the local "mk council", who came to this group asking to be offered training to work on land, the training was informal and at its ending they(mk council) demanded to be part of this co-op, and were almost hijacking this ladies land claiming they have fought for this country, and I was wondering if the committee may assist these ladies to get land away from transnet to continue with what they love most farming. my numbers are 0731046094.
