Dear Portfolio Committee on Employment and Labour,

Im currently employed at CJ Cronje Building as a cleaner under region F. when the in sourcing of cleaners and securities started, we were given letters that we now going to be employed under government and our contract terminated by the previous employer.

The government officials came in, measured us for uniform, and showed us our names as part of the in sourcing team. After all the exercise that the government went thru, to our surprise, we were told that we are no longer going to be employed under government, we now under the Landloard without no contract, No UIF, No Uniforms, just work and get paid, no salary slip too.

The Matter was reported to the CCMA and department of labour, and no help at all accept CCMA who called our employer to ensure that he register us.

'Pieter kotze" apparently he had a huge influence for us not to be in source, and he is a big politician (cant touch).

this is unfair and against the Labour laws of south africa, can someone be employed for more than 8 years as a temp woker, with no contract. everything is happening under the government watch,JMP, Environmental health department, Council offices, Pick it up and those who tried to intervene for us, were told that the must not get involve someone senior has a say, and its all to do with the contract (Tender). we apply for pick it up jobs, but failed to be insource, but relative members were employed under pick it up recently, us working here no permanent job for us.

we would like the government to investigate and in source us permanent as promised, and letters given to us.

i trust this will be treated as an urgent matter, and will receive all the attention it deserve .
