Dear Portfolio Committee on Justice and Correctional Services,

My name is Katie Watt and I am a medical student at UCT living in Pinelands, Cape Town. I am in full support of the decriminalisation of sex work because I believe decriminalisation would help protect sex workers and make them less vulnerable to harm. It would improve access to safe health care and sex workers would be protected by the law and police services.
I hope to see sex work decriminalised this year!
