Chairperson, the first treaty is the extradition treaty before us today, which is a fairly standard treaty that we tend to deal with from time to time in the justice committee and, having considered the request for the approval of the extradition treaty between the Republic of South Africa and the Argentine Republic, the committee recommends the approval of the extradition treaty in terms of 231(2) of the Constitution.
We also want to put on record that should the House want us to embark on a study tour to Argentina to ensure that this extradition treaty is fully implemented we will have no objections as a committee and we will fully comply with such a request.
I am not sure if you want me to deal with the next one as well? [Interjections.] To where? Iran? We are waiting for that extradition treaty with bated breath and we volunteer fully. [Laughter.]
Are there any objections to the approval of the extradition treaty as it appears on the Order Paper? No objections.
Extradition Treaty between the Republic of South Africa and the Argentine Republic approved.
