Acting Chair, I move the draft resolution printed in my name on the Order Paper, as follows:
That Rule 239(1), which provides inter alia that the consideration of a Bill may not commence before at least three working days have elapsed since the committee's report was tabled, be suspended for the purposes of consideration of the Local Government Laws Amendment Bill [B 28B - 2007] (National Assembly - sec 75) on Wednesday, 26 March 2008.
I shall now put the question. The question is that the report be adopted. As the decision is dealt with in terms of section 65 of the Constitution, I shall first ascertain whether all delegation heads are present in the Chamber. In accordance with Rule 71, I shall first allow provinces an opportunity to make their declarations of vote if they so wish. Is there any province that wants to make a declaration? We shall now proceed to voting in alphabetical order. Eastern Cape?

Free State?

Gauteng?

KwaZulu-Natal?
