Mr Chairman, I rise on a point of order, sir: The hon Ndabandaba has just proposed a quite remarkable and very pleasant motion without notice, but I am afraid what he has done, sir, is indicate to the House, yet again, that there is no discipline on the side of the ANC. He will know, and certainly, the Chief Whip of the Majority Party will know, that a motion without notice goes through the Whippery first of all, and consequently, I need to say that we cannot support that motion.
Chief Whip?
We agree. I think there was a breakdown somewhere. The motion was supposed to be circulated. We agree that this is out of order.
Thank you. The motion will therefore not be tabled today. We will have to wait for the next time.
