Chairperson, the report on the preferential trade agreement between the Southern African Customs Union and the Common Market of the South, Mercosur, and the report on the agreement between the governments of the Republic of South Africa and of Zimbabwe are being considered today. These reports have been deliberated upon by the Select Committee on Trade and International Relations and have been approved by the committee.
In the interests of time, we will make available the statement to all the members, especially in terms of the issues in the agreement between the Republic of South Africa and the Republic of Zimbabwe.
I therefore urge this House to agree and adopt these agreements. Thank you, Chairperson. [Applause.]
