Speaker, I rise on a point of order: I submit that the comment made by the Minister that the hon Dreyer misinformed the House based on evidence from her spies is unparliamentary, and I would like you to make a ruling on that, sir.
Speaker, could I address you on the point of order? The Rule, Speaker, is that if a member says that another member deliberately misled the House ... [Interjections.]
Order, hon members! Order!
The Rule is that if a member says that another member deliberately misled the House, then that would be unparliamentary. But to say that a member has misled the House is an opinion, and there is nothing unparliamentary about that. Thank you. [Interjections.]
Order, hon members! It is true that he is not a speaker, but neither are you, until I recognise you to speak from the floor. [Laughter.] This is a debatable matter, hon members. I will just check the Hansard and come back with a ruling.
