Hon Chair, on October 15, 2016, in Kigali, Rwanda, out of 197countries adopted an amendment to phase out hydrofluorocarbons, HFCs under the Montreal Protocol. Under this amendment countries committed to cut the production and consumption of HFCs by more than 80% over the next 30 years.
