Handover of title deeds to the Covie community situated in Ward 1 Bitou Municipality under the Garden Route District Municipality in the Western Cape Western. The handed over property amounts to approximately 765 hectares of land consisting of 17 allotments and the commonage. Implements were also handed over to the households to enable them to work the land. The event was attended by:

Handover of title deeds to Tafelkop Farmers Association (formerly Hereford Farmers Association) in Groblersdal In Limpopo for the properties consisting of 189 Hectares of land and benefiting 31 households. There was no direct cost for the hand over to DALRRD as the event was led by the department of Public Works and Infrastructure, however, the department had already provided financial support for production inputs like seedlings, seeds, fertilizers and chemicals to the value R4 187 751.90 through the Covid relief fund and the one household one |
