Mr M J R de Villiers (DA-WC) to ask the Minister of Basic Education:
(1) Whether there are any educators not suitably qualified to teach
at any (a) primary and/or (b) secondary school; if not, what is
the position in this regard; if so, (i) how many in each
province and (ii) in which schools;
(2) whether any programmes are in place to support these educators
in order to qualify them for their employment in the education
profession; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant
details;
(3) whether any of these educators are currently busy with
furthering their studies to qualify themselves; if not, what is
the position in this regard; if so, (a) how many and (b) in
which (i) schools and (ii) provinces?
