(1) Whether her department’s intervention in the Eastern Cape has resulted in (a) an allocation and appointment of teachers to all schools and classes, (b) restoring the National School Nutrition Programme to all learners who qualify, (c) the supply of textbooks and stationery to non-section 21 schools, (d) restoring learner transport to all deserving learners and (e) finalising plans to deal with unsafe and inappropriate school structures; if not, in each case, (i) why not and (ii) what are the details of the progress made in this regard; if so, what are the relevant details; (2) whether her approach of being diagnostic for purposes of uncovering the underlying causes of the challenges has succeeded; if not, why not; if so, (a) what are the relevant details and (b) what plans are in place to solve these problems?
