(1) Whether, with regard to the Southern and Eastern Africa Consortium for Monitoring Educational Quality (SACMEQ) III Report of 2010, targeted action has been taken aimed at improving the level of competency amongst teachers in the eight provinces which scored lower than the level 8 competency for Mathematics for Grade 6; if not, why not; if so, what (a) is the position in this regard and (b) are the further relevant details; (2) whether targeted action has been taken aimed at improvement in respect of the three provinces in which the percentage of teachers reaching reading competency level 8 was lower than the national average of 77,8%; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details of this action; (3) whether targeted action has been taken aimed at improvement in respect of the eight provinces in which the percentage of Grade 6 learners considered as non-numerate was higher than 20%; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details; (4) whether targeted action has been taken aimed at improvement in respect of the seven provinces in which the percentage of Grade 6 learners considered as non-readers was higher than 20%; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
