(1) In terms of section 57A of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, (a) how many staff members (i) were dismissed for misconduct and/or (ii) resigned prior to the finalisation of their disciplinary proceedings since the implementation of the Act, (b) what was the period of the penalty in each case, (c) when will each penalty period expire and (d) at which municipalities were these persons employed; (2) which municipalities made use of the said section since the 2011 Local Government Elections to ensure that the appointees of section 56 and 57 managers are employable?
