    NATIONAL ASSEMBLY QUESTION FOR WRITTEN REPLY 2702. Hon M.A. Nhanha (COPE) to ask the Minister of Defence and Military Veterans: (1) Whether the department has managed to acquire modern and up to date key equipment such as UAVSs, new log and APC vehicles, attack helicopters, mortar/artillery locating radar and the relevant integrated concept of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), resources which enable combat advantage on the battlefield – all of which are in increasing demand in peace missions: if not, why not; if so, provide relevant details in this regard. NW3201E REPLY 1) No UAV’s, new Log Vehicles, APC or Mortar/Artillery Locating Radar have been acquired in the past 24 months although requirements for Log Vehicles are currently encapsulated in Project VISTULA which is in the Project Study Approval Process.
