Mr M J R de Villiers (DA-WC) to ask the Minister of Health:
(1) (a) Whether any public hospitals were compelled to destroy medical
supplies that have reached their expiry date; if not, why not; if so,
(a) what is the value of medical supplies that was destroyed, (b) in
which public hospitals in each province, (c) what are the names and
(d) what is the volume of medical supplies that was destroyed in each
case;
(2) whether a medical waste incinerator was used in this regard; if not,
why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
