(1) Whether any recommendations of the Public Protector’s report into the alleged delay by the Medical Bureau for Occupational Diseases in the certification of applications for compensation of mining-related occupational diseases have been implemented; if not, (a) why not and (b) when will they be implemented; if so, (i) which recommendations have been implemented and (ii) when; (2) whether his department has reported to the Public Protector within three months as required under recommendation 8.2 of the report; if not, (a) why not and (b) what were the reasons for not doing so; if so, (i) what was the content of the report and (ii) on what date was the report submitted to the Public Protector?
